This is a 10G SFP+ BIDI (B Side) single-mode module, compliant with IEEE 802.3ae, SFP+ MSA and SFF-8431 standards. It adopts BIDI bidirectional transmission technology (WDM), enabling bidirectional data transmission over a single strand of fiber. For full 10Gbps transmission up to 20km, 9/125μm standard single-mode fiber (LC simplex) with G.652/G.655/G.657A specifications is required. This B Side module (1330nm TX / 1270nm RX) must be paired with an A Side BIDI module (1270nm TX / 1330nm RX)—single use will result in connection failure. Do not use multi-mode fiber. For Fortinet Firewall devices with NP6 chips (excluding NP6xlite), do not mix 10G and 1G interfaces to avoid bandwidth transmission issues.
