Important Industrial Grade 10GBASE-SR Multi-Mode Fiber Notice
This is an Industrial Grade 10G SFP+ SR 850nm multi-mode module, compliant with IEEE 802.3ae, SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431 and SFF-8472 standards. For full 10Gbps transmission, 50/125μm OM3/OM4 multi-mode fiber (duplex LC) is required: 300m over OM3 and up to 400m over OM4. OM2 fiber is supported with reduced distance. Single-mode fiber is not compatible. No pairing required—plug-and-play with Fortinet FortiOS. Features wide operating temperature (-40°C ~ 85°C), anti-EMI design, and rugged housing for harsh industrial environments. Note: For Fortinet Firewall devices with NP6 chips (excluding NP6xlite), do not mix 10G and 1G interfaces to avoid bandwidth transmission issues.
